Multi-Residue Pesticide Screen
As a result of AGQ Labs USA’s commitment to continually improve the services we provide our customers, we have expanded our standard multi-residue pesticide screen from 352 parameters to 426 parameters. This change is at no extra cost to our customers. Starting August 1st, 2016 all high water/low fat content samples analyzed by AGQ Labs USA will be under this new method. This new method was added to AGQ Labs USA’s ISO 17025 accreditation in July 2016 under the method reference PE-674. A list of all 426 parameters can be downloaded by clicking here.
AGQ Labs USA will also begin to report pesticides detected at 3 significant figures with a limit of quantitation of 0.010 mg/kg (ppm). The reason for this change is to meet new regulations that have began to set MRLs at this level. Examples of MRLs at this level include:
- Dodine has a MRL of 0.013 mg/kg (ppm) on peanuts in the U.S. (40 CFR 180.172)
- Tebufenozide has a MRL of 0.015 mg/kg (ppm) on artichokes and yams in the U.S. (40 CFR 180.482)
- Sulfoxaflor has a MRL of 0.015 on tree nuts and pistachios in the U.S. (40 CFR 180.668)
With this change, our customers can be more certain whether or not their product meet specific market requirements.
