Ethephon is the most widely used plant growth regulator in the world.   Plants metabolize ethephon into ethylene fairly quickly and food producers use it to help plant's fruit reach ripeness more quickly.   Ethephon is approved for use in the US for a variety of different products under 40 CFR 180.300.

Fosetyl-Aluminum

Fosetyl-Al is a registered fungicide in the US under 40 CFR 180.415- Aluminum tris (O-ethylphosphonate) that is used a lot. Fosetyl-Al MRLs for EU have recently been lowered making this a high-risk pesticide for exports to the EU.
